What I Don't Want To Do:

Today's Story is a snippet of a larger piece.

Okay, here it is. This is what I don't want to do: I don't want to be stuck in this job forever or on this street forever or even in this body forever. I want to be happy, successful, physically fit (not thin--FIT) and living in a beautiful home in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It feels like I've been patient--TOO PATIENT--all of my life. I work hard. Where's the payoff? Maybe I've backed myself into a corner without realizing it. Maybe I inadvertently dug a hole and fell in head first. Maybe I am just a fool who wants too much.

In a way, I do feel greedy. Who am I to believe that I am entitled to happiness?
